Dr. Amy Gearin and her experienced and friendly team are committed to comprehensive and preventive dental care in a comfortable and caring environment. Meet the Doctor

Dr. Amy Gearin

Dr. Amy Gearin is a Utah native. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degrees at the University of Louisville, School of Dentistry in Louisville, Kentucky in 2005. Upon graduating from dental school, she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to work as an associate in an established private dental practice. After several years there, Dr. Gearin decided to make the move to open her own practice. She is committed to furthering her education in dentistry, and she constantly exceeds the minimum numbers of continuing education hours required every year. Dr Gearin has received additional training in cosmetic dentistry, occlusion, dental implants, full-arch dental reconstruction, snoring and sleep apnea treatment, TMJ disorder treatment and more. Her greatest goal is to help patients achieve healthy, disease-free smiles that they are happy with. Dr. Gearin works to promote whole health awareness and that relationship to oral health.

Dr. Gearin’s husband, Grayson, was born and raised here in Las Vegas. He is a high school PE/Health and CrossFit coach. They have 2 young kids, a son and daughter, that keep them busy! Dr. Gearin is also a nutrition coach for Stayfitmom.com. Dr. Gearin enjoys time with her family, being active in the outdoors and CrossFit.

Dr. Henry Duncan

Duncan has served Kannapolis since 1973. Through his many years of experience, he has specialized his approach to dentures, providing a seamless and comfortable experience for his patients. He is excited to welcome Dr. Matt to the practice, to continue his legacy of gentle and compassionate dental care.

Dr Gearin was excellent. She spent all the necessary time explaining things to me and offered her opinion on what procedures would work best for me to reach my dental goal. Dr Gearin did a small procedure during my visit and asked if I wanted anesthesia to which I said, “let’s see how it goes first”. She took her time and was very gentle and I did not request anesthesia.Her staff is very professional and friendly and we’re constantly asking how I was doing.I highly recommend Dr Gearin to anyone that is looking for good quality work!

I really like how this office operates. They give text reminders for appointments with the number in case you need it. The staff is SUPER friendly and helpful. They are very thorough with the imaging and explanation of dental work needing to be done. They are very clean too. Highly recommend!

I've been a patient of Dr. Gearin for the past two years. She and her entire staff are excellent. I had an exam and cleaning yesterday. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment time, and was seen 5 minutes early. Yes, they saw me early. The staff, the hygienist and Dr. Gearin are true professionals. Their equipment and tech seem to be the latest and greatest. I appreciate that because it seems to really speed things up. My cleaning was very thorough and painless. I was done in under an hour.
